Large crowds of people gathered at Tehran Summit Hall on Tuesday to witness the final of the prestigious competition.
Six qaris and seven memorizers made it to the final of the competition.
In the recitation category, contestants received the verses that they had to perform a night earlier, according to Mohammad Taqi Mirzajani, head of the technical committee of the competitions.
Mustafa Ali from the Netherlands recited verses 147-153 of Surah Al-A'raf:
Mustafa Branun from Thailand recited verses 160-163 of Surah Al-A'raf:
Muhammad Sadid from Singapore recited verses 32-39 of Surah Al-An'am:
Hadi Esfidani from Iran recited verses 143-147 of Surah Al-A'raf:
Abdullah Zuhair Hadi from Iraq recited verses 59-66 of Surah Al-An'am:
Aiman Rizwan from Malaysia recited verses 29-36 of Surah Al-A'raf:
In memorization, the finalists were Omid Reza Rahimi from the host country, Yasir al-Ahmad from Syria, Muhammad Asmar from Palestine, Obaidullah Abubakr Ango from Niger, Burhaneddin Rahimov from Russia, Khuzaifa Quraishi from Algeria and Abdul Qadir bin Marwan Saqaa from Saudi Arabia. Winners of the competition will be announced and awarded on Wednesday in the closing ceremony of the event that will be attended by Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi.

The prestigious competition, which began on Thursday, has attracted Quran enthusiasts from around the world.
More than 110 countries registered for Iran's 40th International Quran Competition, but only 69 contestants from 40 countries made it to the final round after a rigorous screening process.
Contestants compete in the main categories of Quran recitation (for men) and Quran memorization and Tateel recitation (for men and women).
The annual event, organized by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, aims to promote the Quranic culture and values among Muslims and showcase the talents of Quran reciters and memorizers.
